COOKIES
“Cookies” are small pieces of information between a web server and a web browser, which enable the server to collect information from the browser. The Indulgence Boutique Hospitality website uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction. We use this data to determine the number of people using our site, to better understand how they find and use our web pages and to see their journey through the website.
Although GA records data such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you to us. GA also records your computer’s IP address which could be used to personally identify you but Google do not grant us access to this.
Website Tracking Information
When you visit our website, information is recorded in our server log files. We use the Webaliser statistical software which analyses traffic patterns and site use from this data. This provides anonymous information about how people have found the site, which pages they have visited, which page they exit from, and so on. These statistics are important to us so that we can make the website more effective and easy to navigate. We also use the Google Analytics program for advanced analysis. No personal information is gathered as a result of either activity.
